Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Bell). They put the hurt on the Huntington Park Spartans with a sharp  21-1 victory on Monday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by eight  runs or more this season.
  Nathen Oropeza looked comfortable as he  struck out six batters over  two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent : he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in six consecutive appearances.
The  win (which was Bell's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Huntington Park, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 3-4.
