Sadly, Reece Carson posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Millard West over Elkhorn South on Tuesday. Carson wasn't messing around, almost dropping a double-double on 28 points and nine rebounds. The contest was his fifth straight with 16 or more points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played.
Carson and Millard West will host Bellevue West at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Carson up against the Thunderbirds' star guard Brayden Mauro. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
