Softball Recap: Mendota Drops Season-High Score on Fresno

Mendota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Fresno Warriors, falling 29-9. One positive for the Aztecs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Mendota's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Fresno, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Mendota will be playing in front of their home fans against Parlier at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Parlier has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.71 runs per game on average), something Mendota will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Fresno, they will challenge Coalinga at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
