Basketball Recap: Robbinsdale Armstrong Comes Up Short

Robbinsdale Armstrong was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Apple Valley Eagles, falling 78-32. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2019.

Apple Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trey Parker out in front who went 15 of 22 en route to 33 points. Those 33 points gave Parker a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Camare Young, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds.

Robbinsdale Armstrong's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Robbinsdale Armstrong will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Minneapolis Southwest at 2:00 p.m. As for Apple Valley, they will host North Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
