Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Hatton

Hatton had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Red Bay Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.

Hatton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was J.O. Czervionke, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Pierce Wilson also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Hatton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Red Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hatton will take on Lexington at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hatton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season. As for Red Bay, they will square off against Whitesburg Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
