Volleyball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Manti Templars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Templars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Thursday.

Union's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Manti, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Union and Manti will both be playing Maeser Prep Academy the next time they take the court. The Templars will head out to face the Lions at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
