Basketball Game Preview: Hagerman Bobcats vs. Texico Wolverines

The Hagerman Bobcats will square off against the Texico Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hagerman is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Tatum on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Hagerman was outmatched by Tatum and fell 69-16. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-5.

Meanwhile, Texico had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 55-46 victory over the Cardinals.

Texico is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points per game. As for Hagerman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.
