After flying high against Varsity Opponent last Tuesday, Coral Shores came back down to earth. The Coral Shores Hurricanes fell 48-36 to the Key West Conchs on Wednesday. The Hurricanes' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Several Hurricanes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Grace Leffler, who went 7 of 16 en route to 17 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Alex Burson, who posted six points and five steals.
