Soccer Recap: Trinity Episcopal Comes Up Short

Trinity Episcopal lost against St. Anne's-Belfield back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Titans came up short against the Saints, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Trinity Episcopal can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 90th, while St. Anne's-Belfield are ranked 19th).

Trinity Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-3. As for St. Anne's-Belfield, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Trinity Episcopal wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-0 win against St. Margaret's on the 30th. As for St. Anne's-Belfield, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Saint Gertrude on the 1st.
