Durham School of the Arts had lost 15 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 0-13 to make it 16. They lost 18-0 to the J.F. Webb Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for J.F. Webb, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

For J.F. Webb's part, Terrie Thornton was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Thornton has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
