Softball Recap: Big Walnut Comes Up Short

Big Walnut fell victim to Dublin Scioto and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Irish. If the Golden Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 11-10 to the Irish when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Big Walnut now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Dublin Scioto, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Big Walnut didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 27-2 win against Westland on the 16th. As for Dublin Scioto, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-3 victory against Westerville North on the 16th.
