Basketball Recap: Glencoe Wins Going Away Against Carney

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Varnum, Glencoe was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Carney Bulldogs with a sharp 61-39 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 74-73 back in November of 2024.

Glencoe's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Carney, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glencoe will challenge Ripley at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Glencoe knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Ripley likes a good challenge. Carney has already played their next contest (against Graham/Dustin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
