Baseball Game Preview: Corry Beavers vs. Conneaut Area Eagles

The Corry Beavers will head out to challenge the Conneaut Area Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Corry came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against General McLane, falling 10-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Beavers were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Conneaut Area's offense. They lost 10-0 to Fairview on Wednesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Conneaut Area saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Wilpula, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Conneaut Area now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Corry, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
