Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Creekside Christian Academy walked away with it. They took down the Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints 72-55 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Creekside Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaiden Williams, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 22 points and six steals. Williams is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Chase Maddox, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards.

Creekside Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since the start of last season.

Despite the defeat, Johnson Ferry Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Trent Witte went 6-for-8 en route to 17 points and five rebounds. What's more, Witte also posted a 75% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in November of 2024. David Cannon was another key player, going 6-for-12 to rack up 12 points and three steals.

Creekside Christian Academy's record now sits at 16-8. As for Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10.

Looking ahead, Creekside Christian Academy will challenge Pinecrest Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Creekside Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Pinecrest Academy likes a good challenge. Johnson Ferry Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
