There's no place like home for Grant, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Roosevelt Roughriders on Friday, sneaking past 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Generals have posted since May 6, 2024.

Grant moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Roosevelt, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Grant has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 loss against McDaniel on the 8th. As for Roosevelt, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Lincoln on the 8th.
