Football Recap: Berry Wildcats vs. Addison Bulldogs
With a playoff game on the line, Berry rose to the challenge on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 54-38 win over the Addison Bulldogs. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats who have now won five contests in a row.
Ayden Lake Norris was his usual excellent self, rushing for 234 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.6 yards per carry, and also catching a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last nine games he's played. Ace Norris also helped out as he racked up 106 rushing yards.
Berry's record now sits at 10-1. As for Addison, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Berry will take on Spring Garden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Berry knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Spring Garden likes a good challenge. Addison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
