Anderson-Shiro won the last time they faced Mumford and things went their way on Saturday too. The Fighting Owls came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Fighting Owls as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Mumford lost, don't look at Ashlen Sloan. Despite the final result, she had 14 assists and nine digs. Hallie Baldwin also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Anderson-Shiro's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Mumford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anderson-Shiro will welcome BVCHEA HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mumford, they will challenge Milano at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
