They had to suffer through a 53-12 loss at the hands of the Chattooga Indians. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Excel Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Chattooga, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Excel Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 37-29 victory against Praise Academy on the 4th. As for Chattooga, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fannin County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
