Baseball Recap: Hoover Comes Up Short

The Hoover Tornados came up short against the Oak Park Eagles on Wednesday, falling 16-4. The Tornados have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Owen Marks made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Hoover's record now sits at 6-13. As for Oak Park, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10-1.

Coming up, Hoover will face off against Pasadena at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Oak Park will be paying especially close attention to the Tornados' matchup: after the Tornados faces off against the Bulldogs, they'll take on Oak Park again at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
