Basketball Recap: Oswego Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Neuqua Valley, Oswego was happy to have turned things around on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 59-58 victory over the Guilford Vikings. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Oswego now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Guilford, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Oswego and Guilford will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Panthers are set to face off against their familiar foe Plainfield Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Guilford will square off against rival Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
