The Enloe Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Broughton Capitals at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Enloe is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.3 runs per game this season.

Enloe hadn't beaten Sanderson on the road since March 13, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past the Spartans 26-9. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Avery Modlin made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 16 batters over six innings while giving up six earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. In other batting news, Lilly Watson and Madison Young did most of the damage at the plate: Watson went 4-for-5 with six RBI, four runs, and two stolen bases, while Young scored four runs and stole five bases while going 2-for-3.
