Softball Recap: Liberty's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Liberty was feeling good fresh off their 16-1 takedown of Pleasant Valley last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Liberty came up short against the North Pocono Trojans on Saturday, falling 11-5. The loss put an end to the Hurricanes' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Liberty fell to 2-1. As for North Pocono, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Liberty will welcome Emmaus at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Pocono, they will head out on the road to challenge Northwest Area at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (North Pocono 3.8, Northwest Area 0.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
