Roswell can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They came out on top against the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Coyotes also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 23-25, 25-22.

Roswell's win bumped their record up to 3-16. As for Carlsbad, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Roswell will take on rival Clovis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carlsbad is set to challenge their familiar foe Hobbs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
