Football Game Preview: Washington County Commanders vs. Bardstown Tigers + Official Tickets

The Washington County Commanders will head out to square off against the Bardstown Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither Washington County nor Bardstown posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

On Friday, Washington County had to suffer through a 38-8 loss at the hands of Lexington Christian. The Commanders haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Bardstown's offense. They were dealt a 36-0 loss at the hands of Lexington Catholic last Friday. That makes it the first time this season the Tigers have let down their home crowd.

Bardstown's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Washington County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Things could have been worse for Washington County, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 46-27 loss to Bardstown in their previous matchup back in September of 2020. Can the Commanders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
