Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln-Way Central Knights vs. Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings

The Lincoln-Way Central Knights will face off against the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lincoln-Way Central played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against Andrew by a score of 2-0. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Thunderbolts recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Lincoln-Way Central not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Andrew to exactly 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Homewood-Flossmoor earned a 2-0 win over Sandburg on Tuesday.

Homewood-Flossmoor easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14.

The victory got Homewood-Flossmoor back to even at 12-12. As for Lincoln-Way Central, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.
