Basketball Recap: Jordan Christian Prep Sunshine Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Jordan Christian Prep Sunshine Seahawks ended up a good deal behind the Avon Park Red Devils and lost 80-65.

Avon Park's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tayvion Jones, who posted 19 points. Christopher Kelly was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 20 boards.

Jordan Christian Prep Sunshine's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Avon Park, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
