Softball Recap: St. Pius X Warriors vs. Raytown South Cardinals
There's no place like home for St. Pius X, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Raytown South Cardinals on Monday, sneaking past 8-6. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
St. Pius X's win ended a 12-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5. As for Raytown South, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
St. Pius X does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Raytown South, they will challenge Lincoln College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
