Riverdale extended their winning streak to 12 on Monday, bumping their season record up to 23-14 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Centennial Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Centennial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-18. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by just one run.

For Centennial's part, they got a good showing from Drew McAllister, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. McAllister has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Eli Wells and Titus Cimarosti did some serious damage despite the final result: Wells went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Cimarosti went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI.

As of now, neither Riverdale nor Centennial have any future games scheduled.
