McCracken County had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Kennett Indians an 11-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 14 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

McCracken County's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Kennett, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McCracken County will welcome Paducah Tilghman at 6:00 p.m. on May 5. As for Kennett, they will host Valley View at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
