After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alief Hastings, Bellaire was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 62-0 win over the Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Bellaire's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chance Diebner, who rushed for 116 yards and two scores on only six carries. Diebner really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run. Jake Brasington also helped with two TDs in total.

Bellaire didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jarvis Wright and Daniel Cole.

Bellaire now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Houston Math Science & Tech, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Bellaire and Houston Math Science & Tech will both be playing Westside the next time they take the field. The Cardinals will host the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th.
