Volleyball Recap: Moapa Valley Comes Up Short

Moapa Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Foothill Falcons. The Pirates were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Despite the loss, Moapa Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Phoebe Leavitt had four digs and three aces.

Moapa Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Foothill, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coincidentally, Moapa Valley and Foothill will both be playing Southeast Career Tech the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Roadrunners at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
