Basketball Recap: Furr Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Furr, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-58 victory over the Kashmere Fighting Rams on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-50 back in December of 2024.

Furr's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Kashmere, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.

Furr will square off against North Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Furr has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Kashmere, they will challenge Scarborough at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Kashmere is facing Scarborough at the right time seeing as Scarborough is stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
