Basketball Recap: Mount Pisgah Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mount Pisgah Academy came into this matchup off a tough 24-point defeat on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders by a score of 50-47 on Thursday. While the Mountaineers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Crusaders 16-9 in the first quarter.

Leading Bethel Christian Academy to victory were Bella Adwell and Avianah Greene. Adwell almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds, while Greene almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine boards. Adwell is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Chloe Jordan, who posted four points and three steals.

Mount Pisgah Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests.
