Basketball Recap: McNeil Comes Up Short

McNeil played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 92-61 loss at the hands of the Hutto Hippos. The Mavericks have struggled against the Hippos recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Landyn Rosow went supernova for Hutto, going 10-for-17 from beyond the arc on his way to 30 points. The dominant performance also gave Rosow a new career-high in rebounds (four). Cylin Tate was another key player, going 6-for-10 en route to 15 points in addition to seven boards and six assists.

McNeil's loss dropped their record down to 7-26. As for Hutto, they pushed their record up to 14-17 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither McNeil nor Hutto have any future games scheduled.
