Basketball Recap: Denver City Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lockney last Friday, Denver City came back down to earth. The Denver City Mustangs received a blow on Friday as they fell 54-38 to the Olton Mustangs. The contest marked Denver City's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Denver City's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Olton, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Denver City will challenge Wink at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olton, they will take on Bushland at 3:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
