Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Comes Up Short

St. Mary lost against Ravenscroft back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The St. Mary's Saints took a hard 49-31 fall against the Ravenscroft Ravens. The game marked the Saints' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

St. Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Ravenscroft, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-14 record this season.

As for Ravenscroft, they will square off against Durham Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Ravenscroft's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Durham Academy has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
