Basketball Recap: Dallas HSAA's Run of Five Straight Victories Now Over

After flying high against Lubbock T on Friday, Dallas HSAA came back down to earth. The Dallas HSAA Angels fell 54-44 to the Oklahoma F Flame on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Angels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 141st in Texas, while the Flame are ranked 48th in Oklahoma).

Dallas HSAA lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being MiaGrace Delahoz, who posted eight points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Elissa Singleton, who put up six points and six boards.

The defeat snapped Dallas HSAA's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 22-5 record. As for Oklahoma F, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Dallas HSAA didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 47-44 victory against Fort Worth THESA on the 25th. Oklahoma F has also already played their next game, a 41-38 win against Dallas Thunder on the 25th.
