Soccer Recap: Hamilton County Gets the Win

Hamilton County lost to Gadsden County back in January of 2020, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Hamilton County Trojans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Gadsden County Jaguars. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Trojans were the better team in the second half.

Kinsley Gurganus and Felicity Perez scored both of Hamilton County's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Hamilton County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9-1. As for Gadsden County, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-10-1.

Hamilton County will host Branford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gadsden County, they will head out to face off against Freeport at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
