Baseball Recap: Monument Valley Takes a Loss

If Monument Valley was feeling good fresh off their 11-3 takedown of Many Farms last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs came up short against the Tuba City Warriors on Tuesday, falling 19-7. The Mustangs have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Ty Goldtooth was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Moises Rivera, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Monument Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Tuba City, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.
