Baseball Recap: Oil City Comes Up Short

Oil City lost against Sharon on April 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Oilers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1.

Oil City saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Casey Rybak, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Oil City's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Sharon, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Oil City will host Conneaut Area at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sharon, they will head out to challenge Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
