Football Recap: Huron Tigers vs. Elmwood Royals
The Huron Tigers humbled the Elmwood Royals with a 48-12 victory. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Royals are ranked 473rd) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Landon Hohler was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 296 yards and five TDs while completing 82.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 72 yards and a pair of scores. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (162.4). Huron's leading receiver Caleb Staley was Hohler's top target yet again, picking up 169 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

The victory got Huron back to even at 1-1. As for Elmwood, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

As for Elmwood, they will face off against Leipsic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Royals' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
