Volleyball Recap: Mescalero Apache Comes Up Short

Mescalero Apache was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cloudcroft Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-10, 25-20.

Mescalero Apache's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Cloudcroft, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mescalero Apache is set to take on their familiar foe Capitan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cloudcroft will face off against rival Mesilla Valley Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
