Softball Recap: Leigh Comes Up Short

Leigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Carlmont Scots.

Leigh saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Oliver, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Leigh's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Carlmont, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Coincidentally, Leigh and Carlmont will both be playing Los Gatos the next time they take the field. The Scots will head out to face the Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Longhorns will play them later in the day, at 5:15 p.m.
