South Lyon East came tearing into Saturday's game with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Northview Wildcats.

Lexi Coleman paced South Lyon East's offense, picking up 13 kills. Coleman got some help from Ava Kiernan and her 14 assists. Coleman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

South Lyon East's win bumped their record up to 21-5-1. As for Northview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

South Lyon East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Jenison on the 20th. As for Northview, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Grosse Pointe South on the 20th.
