Volleyball Recap: Cooper City Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Cooper City had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the American Heritage Patriots on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

While Cooper City had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19.

Coincidentally, Cooper City and American Heritage will both be playing Franklin Academy the next time they take the court. The Patriots will host the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cowboys will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
