Basketball Recap: Math Science & Engineering Comes Up Short

Math Science & Engineering was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 68-14 defeat at the hands of the Douglass Academy Lions. The match marked Math Science & Engineering's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Math Science & Engineering's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Douglass Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Math Science & Engineering has already played their next game (against Beacon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Douglass Academy will host East Harlem at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Harlem knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Douglass Academy likes a good challenge.
