Basketball Recap: Rutland Comes Up Short

Rutland lost against Northside back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rutland Hurricanes took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northside Eagles.

Rutland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Northside, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

When Rutland and Northside next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Rutland will try to stop Crisp County's three-game winning streak when the meet at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Northside will take on Tift County and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
