Basketball Recap: William Penn Has No Trouble Against Hempfield

A well-balanced attack led William Penn over Hempfield in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. The William Penn Bearcats took down the Hempfield Black Knights 70-55. The Bearcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Black Knights, too.

William Penn found their leader in sophomore Nasir Barnes, who posted 29 points. The team also got some help courtesy of David Warde, who earned 15 points.

William Penn now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Hempfield, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

William Penn will challenge South Western at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hempfield, they will face off against Dallastown at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
