Softball Recap: White Plains Comes Up Short

White Plains lost against Alexandria back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley Cubs.

White Plains' loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Alexandria, they pushed their record up to 28-8-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

White Plains and Alexandria should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. The Wildcats will take on Cleburne County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (62 vs. 327). Meanwhile, Alexandria (ranked 17th) will meet Oxford (ranked 119th) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
