Baseball Recap: Elizabethton Takes a Loss

Elizabethton lost against Science Hill two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fighting Cyclones came up short against the Hilltoppers, falling 12-2. The Fighting Cyclones have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elizabethton's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Science Hill, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 24-8.

Coming up, Elizabethton is taking a road trip to take on David Crockett at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Science Hill, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 11-2 defeat against Oak Ridge on the 18th.
